Kim Beazley
Kim Beazley was one of Australia's most successful and popular politicians. He has Masters degrees in Arts and Philosophy, and is a former lecturer in social and political theory at Murdoch University. In 1980 he wasd elected to the Federal seat of Swan (metropolitan Perth), moving to the seat of Brand in 1996. He rose quickly through the ranks of the Australian Labor Party to become deputy Prime Minister in June 1995, and held the position of Opposition leader throughout most of the Howard years. He has recently been appointed as the Australian Ambassador to the United States. |

David Courtney
David Courtney is the Chairman of the Board of at Chaplains Without Boarders. He began his career by joining Arthur Young (Ernst & Young) as a graduate in 1984, and began work in the Melbourne AABS practice, before moving into Corporate Finance (now Transaction Advisory Services). He became a partner at Ernst & Young in 1996, and left the firm in 1997 to join Crown as its CFO. He then went on to become the CEO of Burswood Casino in Perth, before rejoining Crown Casino as CEO. He left Crown in 2010.

Richard Alston
Richard is a former Liberal member of the Australian Senate, 1986 to 2004, representing the state of Victoria. He was Minister for Communications and the Arts 1996-97, Minister for Communications, the Information Economy and the Arts 1997-98 and Minister for Communications, Information Technology and the Arts 1998-2003. He was also Deputy Leader of the Government in the Senate 1996-2003. From February 2005 to February 2008, Alston was Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom in London. |

Jim Molan
Major General Jim Molan joined the Australian Army following completion of his schooling in Victoria. On graduating from the Royal Military College, Duntroon, in 1971 he was allocated to the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Queensland. He is a graduate of the ADF School of Languages where he studied Indonesian. He maintains an interest in aviation and holds civil commercial licences and instrument ratings for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and is accredited as a Master Project Director (MPD).

Andrew Buxton
Andrew Buxton has a civil engineering degree from the University of Melbourne. Andrew began his career in the quarry and asphalt industry as co-Managing Director of the Associated Quarries and Asphalts Group between 1974 and 1988. Andrew diversified into property development and co-founded MAB Corporation (MAB) with his brother Michael in 1995. He is currently Managing Director of MAB Corporation and has over 20 years experience in the property industry. With $2 billion in projects completed or commenced, MAB generates approximately $250 million in annual sales, has net assets approaching $200 million and currently employs over 100 people. |

Bishop Peter Elliot
Peter is an Australian Catholic Bishop, the Titular Bishop of Manaccenser and Auxiliary Bishop in the Southern Region of the Archdiocese of Melbourne. He is the General Editor of the Archdiocesan Religious Education Texts, “To Know, Worship and Love”, as well as being the author of books and articles in the fields of Theology, Church History, Catechetics, Liturgy, Marriage and the Family, Apologetics and Demography. |

Bill Horman
Bill had a long and distinguished police, law enforcement and emergency services career – including serving periods as Deputy Commissioner (Operations) with Victoria Police and as the Commissioner of Vanuatu Police and Commissioner of Tasmania Police. He was the General Manager, Community Affairs at Crown Casino until 2010. Bill currently works as an consultant to the hotels and licensed club industry. |

Mark Lawrence
For the last ten years the Chief Financial Officer the Royal Freemasons a leading aged care organisation with numerous facilities in metropolitan and country Victoria. Prior to that nine years with AMCOR one of Australia’s largest manufacturing companies. Work there encompassed greenfields sites, forestry and corporate roles finishing as the Commercial Manager for the Recycling Division.
Over 20 years experience in finance with a previous background in purchasing and warehousing. In private life has held various committee positions including President of the Broadford Secondary School Council and an active member of the Victorian Breeders and Studmasters Association of Victoria. For some years an active journalist in the field of harness racing culminating in wining an award for the Best Article of the Year. |

John Thompson
John Thompson was promoted to the role of Senior Manager of Road Safety and Marketing at the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) in 2009. Prior to this he held the role of Senior Manager - Marketing at TAC for five years. In 2009 he was awarded the Australian Marketing Institute's Marketer of the Year and AdNews named him as one of the Top Marketers in Australia recognising his achievements in the field of marketing. Prior to his time with the TAC John was Marketing Director of property development company VicUrban for just under five years and prior to that he held roles in marketing and public relations consulting and the retail energy sector. He has a love of English sports cars, the fine game of Cricket, and splits his football passions between the Essendon Football Club and Melbourne Victory. |

Phil Walker
As Chief Executive Officer of AssetCo Management Pty Ltd, Phillip Walker is responsible for the management of a range of infrastructure assets held by Industry Funds Management. These assets currently include the Southern Cross Station complex in Victoria and the Joint Operations Command HQ in the ACT.
Phillip was recruited from Connex where he was the company’s Projects Manager and responsible for all major projects.
Prior to this he worked in Saudi Arabia on the privatisation of a combined water, waste water and electricity utility – the first privatisation in the Middle East.
Throughout the 1990s, Phillip held senior management roles within the energy, logistics, and science and technology sectors after spending 19 years with the Victorian State Electricity Commission.
Phillip holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Professional Accounting and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. |
