The School Fund: A Chaplains Without Borders Scholarship Program

Sometimes in life, everybody needs a helping hand.

The best way to help people is early in life, giving them a good education so that they will have the tools to look after others when they grow up. We are, as individuals, the sum of contributions we receive and make to others. Growing up in a supportive community makes for stronger and better communities.

Mindful of this, and supportive of religious education – whatever the denomination – Chaplains Without Borders has established a scholarship bursary for three kids around Australia. The children nominated are from families with single parents, have a number of siblings, and are at risk of going without a quality local education due to school fee pressures. The School Fund isn't about sending children to elite schools and paying exorbitant fees. It's about helping struggling families afford a good education for their kids so that they can have a brighter future.
